Job summary
Our Woodbridge based client, an industry leader in miscellaneous metals, custom railing fabrication and other intricate architectural metalwork, is searching for an Operations Manager to oversee their miscellaneous metals division. This role will manage multiple projects primarily in the high-rise residential sector. Initial focus will be on customer/site management, this will balance out over time as the team grows Responsibilities: (present allocation, future allocation) Customer/Site Management (65%, 25%) Schedule drafting, site measuring, installation crews & manufacturing to meet deadlines. Maintain financial records for monthly billing with a focus on Profit & Loss Track and respond to detailed changes within the scope of work Manage relationships with employees, site superintendents, project managers, suppliers & customers. Oversee quoting/estimating (15%, 25%) Analyze blueprints and process specifications to generate quotes, use of AutoCAD Project estimation and client liaison Direct involvement with developing accurate quotation & scheduling system through Microsoft Excel. Verify final estimation numbers prior to submission of quotations Shop & Warehouse Leadership (10%, 25%) Oversee fabrication, drafting, installation and purchasing departments Shop supervision and quality control oversight Meet and set safety standards and employee best practices. Overall Operations Management (10%, 25%) Organize and manage multiple large projects $1,000,000+ Working knowledge of accounting principles. Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and social media platforms. Compensation: Commensurate with experience, Benefits

Requirements
