Administrative Assistant – HSE (Contract) Our client is searching for an experienced Administrative Assistant, HSE (Contract) to join their team in Calgary. This role coordinates employee safety training, administers HSE management systems and platforms, monitors in-vehicle safety programs, and supports regulatory compliance initiatives. The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and compliant workplace. Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To Coordinate and schedule client-specific safety training for employees. Administer the in-vehicle monitoring program, including - Monitoring alerts and driver safety events, preparing and distributing driver scorecards, conducting event follow-up and documentation and recognizing and promoting positive driving behaviors. Manage and maintain HSE software platforms, including Work Hub, Samsara, and Site Docs. Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, managers, and subcontractors, ensuring timely communication and support. Record and distribute meeting minutes for - Monthly Safety Meetings, Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) Meetings & HSEQ Meetings Prepare reports, presentations, safety documentation, and other administrative materials as required. Assist with incident tracking, safety records management, and compliance documentation. Your strengths include: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret safety-related data. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience working in a health and safety, HSE, or HSEQ environment. Experience using Work Hub, Site Docs, Samsara, or similar HSE management systems.
