Senior Accountant- Growth To Controller (Hybrid) Our client is seeking a driven Senior Accountant to join their team. Offering a defined growth path toward a future Controller position, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious accountant looking to accelerate their career within a growing organization. Primarily focused on project accounting, cost analysis, and month-end reporting, the role plays a key part in supporting financial operations and project performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional with experience in construction or project-based environments who enjoys partnering with operational leaders and is naturally curious about the processes and drivers behind financial results. Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To Prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations Maintain accurate balance sheet schedules and supporting working papers Manage project setup and project cost tracking Perform project costing, cost reporting, and variance analysis Complete monthly inventory costing and inventory reconciliations Reconcile accounts receivable and monitor collections activity Perform accounts payable, credit card, and GST reconciliations Maintain the fixed asset register and calculate monthly depreciation Partner with operations and project teams to support informed business decisions Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased reporting efficiencies Your strengths include: 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to month-end close activities Previous experience within a manufacturing, construction, or project-based environment is preferred Experience with project accounting, job costing, and inventory is an asset CPA designation or CPA-in-Progress is considered an asset but not required Strong ERP and Excel skills with the ability to manage large volumes of financial data Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy An approachable, team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills to work effectively across all areas of the business A proactive mindset with a desire to grow into future leadership opportunities within the finance function If you are interested in this role and meet the above criteria, please click the "Apply" button to send your resume directly to Vicky Vu.
