There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Construction Various locations Commercial Residential Responsibilities Tasks Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards Inspect assemblies for alignment, symmetry, dimensions, fit and quality of workmanship Fit and assemble components using hand and power tools Assemble, fit and install pre-fabricated parts and subassemblies Follow emergency and safety procedures Maintain clean and safe work environment Ensure safety procedures are followed Coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Large workload Physically demanding Tight deadlines Own tools/equipment Safety equipment/gear Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability Reliability Team player Punctuality
