Senior Project Manager – ICI Ground-Up Construction Location: Mississagua, Ontario Salary: $175,000–$190,000 + Bonus + Benefits + RRSP Project Value: $100M–$300M Reliance Impact is partnering with a leading general contractor that is looking to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to their ICI construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level construction professional with strong experience managing large-scale ground-up ICI projects valued between $100 million and $300 million. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex projects from preconstruction through to completion, while managing budgets, schedules, client relationships, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams. About the Role As the Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of major institutional, commercial, and industrial construction projects. You will play a key leadership role in planning, execution, financial management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. This role requires a proven project leader who can manage large teams, navigate complex project challenges, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Lead the full project lifecycle for large-scale ICI ground-up construction projects valued between $100M and $300M Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, procurement, and overall financial performance Oversee project teams, including Project Managers, Coordinators, Superintendents, consultants, and subcontractors Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, clients, consultants, trades, and internal stakeholders Lead project planning, scheduling, risk management, and execution strategies Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation Monitor project progress and ensure milestones, deliverables, and quality standards are achieved Manage tendering, procurement, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administration Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, building codes, and company policies Lead project meetings and provide accurate reporting to senior leadership Support project closeout, deficiency management, turnover, and client handover Qualifications Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager on large-scale ICI construction projects Strong experience managing ground-up construction projects valued at $100M+ Background in institutional, commercial, or industrial construction is required Excellent understanding of construction contracts, budgets, schedules, procurement, and project controls Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large project teams and multiple stakeholders Experience working with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and senior leadership Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage complex project challenges in a fast-paced construction environment Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is considered an asset Gold Seal, PMP, P.Eng., or similar designation is considered an asset Compensation Salary: $175,000–$190,000, based on experience Performance bonus Comprehensive benefits package RRSP program Opportunity to lead major ICI projects valued between $100M and $300M Strong long-term career growth with a reputable general contractor Reliance Impact Connecting top talent through human connection.
