Repost/Revised August 27, 2026 THE RENFREW COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD requires the following SENIOR SECRETARY ELEMENTARY - SUPERVISION SCHOOL: Champlain Discovery Public School, Pembroke SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week TERM: Permanent, full-time RATE OF PAY: $40.67 - $41.44 (Group 11) Qualifications A minimum of Grade 12 education (or equivalent) plus an additional relevant two-year post-secondary diploma. Excellent keyboarding skills plus a working knowledge of software applications (i.e. Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Publisher, and K212 and Aspen) used by the Boards schools. It is desirable that the candidate has a general knowledge of the Boards operation, routines, personnel and policies. A high degree of initiative and independent judgment is required. The candidate must have the ability to supervise office staff and be able to deal professionally and effectively with staff, students and parents. Minimum of one-year experience required, two years of experience is preferred. Duties A key member of the office team, the primary function of the Senior Secretary Elementary - Supervision is to ensure the effective daily operation of the office by providing administrative and secretarial support to staff, and by assisting students, parents and the public. He/she also supervises other staff providing administrative assistance. Hiring will follow the requirements outlined in the CUPE 1321 Collective Agreement and the RCDSB Administrative Procedures.
