Making new memories? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Nakiska Ski Resort wants you! We are looking to fill the position of Accounting Assistant. You are a problem solver, The ideal candidate will have previous knowledge in data entry, a clear communicator, and have excellent knowledge of Excel. Your Responsibilities Reconcile daily cash outs and enter cash outs in the cash sheets Reconcile promotions and vouchers in the cash sheets Maintain department floats and safe counts Reconcile and process Petty Cash Assist with accounts receivable as required Process Ticketing and Ski School Reservations Moneris setup and maintenance Miscellaneous filing and job-related duties as assigned You Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal Are enthusiastic and passionate about skiing and outdoor adventure Possess excellent time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills Maintain the ability to work well under pressure Are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel Demonstrate a pleasant and professional demeanor Required Experience High school diploma with specialized courses in accounting 1-2 years’ experience in accounts receivable will be an asset Self-starter with ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment Knowledge of ACCPAC will be an asset Previous bookkeeping experience will be an asset We Offer A full-time season pass for our resorts, amazing reciprocals Discounts on food, rental & retail and hotels, friends and family lift tickets Staff events – meet great people who share a passion for the mountain lifestyle!

Requirements

Candidates should have a high school diploma with accounting courses and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Previous experience in accounts receivable or bookkeeping and knowledge of ACCPAC are considered assets.
