Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is looking to fill the position of Accounting Supervisor. This is a Full-time year-round position reporting to the People & Culture Manager. The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations for the resort. This role includes managing cash sheet reconciliation, accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, supervising a small accounting team, and maintaining accurate financial records. The manager supports timely financial reporting, enforces internal controls, and ensures compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities Accounting Functions Oversee day to day accounting functions, including cash sheet entries, petty cash, and safe balance Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, customer billing, and collections when necessary Perform and review monthly, and year-end reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Train, supervise and evaluate the resort cash audit team to maintain high performance standards Support resort revenue departments to ensure accuracy of point-of-sale systems for reporting purposes Monitor sales taxes as recorded on cash sheets and ensure compliance with reporting requirements Act as the primary contact with head office staff for financial and administrative matters Ensure knowledge of, compliance with, and training on RCR policies, procedures, and OHS programs Other accounting related duties as assigned Administration Functions Oversee day-to-day office functions, including mail distribution, document management (shredding, filing, archiving), and maintaining a professional, organized office environment Monitor and order office supplies and equipment, as needed, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and adequate inventory levels to support resort operations Coordinate and maintain the resort’s key management system Manage fleet insurance for KAR & FAR vehicles, coordinate annual insurance renewals, maintain up-to-date vehicle documentation, and support fleet compliance with company policies Qualifications Accounting background and/or education required Previous experience in a leadership role an asset Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to problem-solve and work independently Ability to maintain confidentiality required Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, Windows, ACCPAC, and Outlook Conditions Work flexible shifts and varying hours during busy times Working holidays, weekends and evenings can be expected during busy times Compensation And Benefits Competitive wage: $21.00-$25.00 per hour dependent on experience Mountain access perks: Full-time staff receive an RCR pass with full mountain access, plus reciprocal resort tickets and discounted friends & family tickets Staff discounts: Enjoy savings on food & beverage, rentals, retail items and hotel accommodation. Requirements

An accounting background and/or education is required, and previous leadership experience is an asset. Candidates should have strong organizational and time-management skills, be able to problem-solve and work independently, maintain confidentiality, and be proficient with Microsoft Office, ACCPAC, and Outlook.
