Job summary
You Will Safely operate snowmaking and related equipment, performing pre and post operation checks. Perform daily light maintenance (topping up fluids, cleaning interior and exterior, greasing, and fueling of machine). Layout, connect and charge hoses during setup. Monitor and adjust snowmaking pumps and guns as required. Discharge, disconnect, thaw and drain hoses for teardown. Recognize and report any potential hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Snowmaking Team Lead. Perform snow removal and snow farming (including snowmaking and snow fencing). Be an advocate for health and safety, ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Work flexible shifts, including afternoons, graveyards, holidays and weekends, in extreme weather conditions. Perform other duties as assigned. You Have Previous experience with snowmaking or terrain building, with an excellent safety record. Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of basic operations and equipment maintenance. The physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs, perform manual labor, stand for prolonged periods, and work in all outdoor conditions. Comfort working with high voltage and high-water pressure. A basic understanding of mountain resort maintenance and ski/snowboarding terrain needs. A team-oriented mindset and a desire to make a positive contribution to the entire resort. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of people. We Offer Competitive Wage: $19.77 - $20.08 per hour.
