Role Description The Sales Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB, responsible for guiding and supporting the store’s sales team to achieve revenue and performance targets. This role oversees daily floor operations, assigns tasks, and ensures that team members deliver an engaging, brand-aligned customer experience. The Sales Team Lead monitors sales metrics, motivates the team through coaching and feedback, and helps implement merchandising and promotional activities. The role includes handling escalated customer issues, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and collaborating with store leadership on staffing, training, and performance improvement. The Sales Team Lead also contributes to maintaining store standards, inventory accuracy, and a safe, inclusive work environment. Qualifications Strong sales abilities, with proven experience in retail sales and achieving or exceeding targets. Team management skills, including leading, coaching, and motivating sales teams in a fast-paced environment. Customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, welcoming, and solution-oriented service. Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening. Analytical skills to interpret sales data, KPIs, and customer trends and support data-informed decisions. Experience in sports, athleisure, or fashion retail is an asset. Ability to work on-site, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Previous supervisory or lead experience in retail or a related field preferred.
