Data Analytics Co-Op

REV is acknowledged throughout our industry as a leader in safety. Position Overview: We are looking for a co-op student to support our data and analytics work. You will help gather and analyze data, build dashboards and reports, and automate recurring tasks. This role is ideal for a senior undergraduate or Master’s student interested in practical analytics and AI/data science applications in a business environment. Key Responsibilities: Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources (including databases) Write SQL queries to extract and validate data for analysis and reporting Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders Create and update calculations/measures in Power BI using basic DAX Develop Excel-based analysis tools, templates, and automated reports Create or maintain Excel macros (VBA) to improve efficiency and reduce manual work Support documentation of data definitions, report logic, and recurring processes Collaborate with team members to understand reporting needs and deliver insights Qualifications: 4th-year undergraduate or Master’s level student in Data Science (AI development preferred) or a related program Strong Excel skills, including experience writing macros (VBA) Experience with Power BI, including building reports and using basic DAX Experience working with databases and writing SQL queries Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets Good communication skills and ability to explain findings clearly Start Date: Sept 1, 2026 Location: Calgary, AB Duration: 4 or 8 months Items to Include in Application: Resume Application Closing Date: Will remain open until suitable candidate is found.
