Position Summary Department / Research Program: Mi4-CRP, IDIGH The McGill Interdisciplinary Initiative in Infection and Immunity-Clinical Research Platform (Mi4-CRP) has an active research program, conducting numerous clinical trials each year to provide innovative research to their patients. Under the immediate supervision of the Mi4-CRP Research Director and Project Manager, the incumbent will be directly involved in several clinical trials, related to infectious diseases such as COVID-19, MPOX, Respiratory illnesses, CMV, and antimicrobials resistance studies. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, organized, enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team. The incumbent will be required to complete research activities as following active participants and recruit new participants at the McGill University Health Center. General Duties Responsibilities May Include But Are Not Necessarily Limited To Coordinate patient recruitment and study procedures: Identifying eligible participants, Scheduling study visits, Explaining and reviewing informed consent form with participants, Chart review, Complete case report forms and questionnaires with participants, Timely completion of all study documentation forms, including case report forms (CRFs), queries and other study specific documents, Maintaining and updating study regulatory binder, Attending relevant departmental meetings or rounds in order to increase knowledge and understanding, Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by supervisor, including support to other coordinators and research staff members, Preparation of monitoring visits, Communications and knowledge translation/dissemination Ability to communicate efficiently with many stakeholders as project manager and team members, principal investigators and co-investigators, clinical teams, community partners, other research team, Managing study site supervision including correspondence, training, quarterly payments, queries and general site support, You may be asked to assist with design/development of promotional materials/newsletters. Data management Supervising roll-out of electronic case report forms (eCRFs), Data entry and coordination, Data scanning, data cleaning, Ensuring research quality data. An advanced knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with patients who are exclusively proficient in English. High level of initiative and organization , Ability to prioritize and to multitask , Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations , Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team , Ability to exercise tact, discretion and confidentiality , Computing skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access. Assets Knowledge of the guidelines for Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Health Canada Part C, Division 5 of the Food and Drug Regulations , Basic knowledge in research ethics with humans.
