Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for an Electrician at our Lethbridge, AB location. Candidates applying must be able to work Monday to Friday, on call. The hourly wage for this position is $46.57 per hour. Responsibilities: Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and general workplace rules Participate in the day to day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times: Always using the required personal protective equipment Ensuring that authorized work is completed safely Utilizing required controls to prevent risk of exposure to hazards Participating actively in incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiatives Reporting all unsafe acts and conditions and all incidents, near misses and workplace injuries/illnesses as per company procedure Install, modify, repair and maintain electrical circuits, devices and equipment Install, repair, calibrate and trouble shoot instrumentation devices and maintain detailed records on tasks performed Trouble shoot electrical and control equipment to correct processing upsets Assist in shutdown duties as required Work within established OH&S regulations and comply with all Company policies & procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Journeyman Electrician Certification with preference given to candidate with Instrumentation Technician Certification PLC experience as well as knowledge/experience in fire alarm system and automation in a Processing Environment Excellent written, documentation and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills and team work ability Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills Willing to work shifts, overtime and “emergency call ins” Richardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities.
