Minimum Qualifications: * Previous experience in food service or hospitality, preferably in banquet or event settings. * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays or plates weighing up to 25 pounds. * Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. * Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with guests and team members. * Legal eligibility to work in Canada. Preferred Qualifications: * Certification in food handling or hospitality service. * Experience working in diverse cultural environments or with large-scale events. * Multilingual abilities to assist a broader range of guests. * Familiarity with POS systems or banquet management software. * Customer service training or related coursework. Responsibilities: * Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and place settings. * Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are respected. * Assist in clearing tables and resetting them between courses or events while maintaining cleanliness and organization. * Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to coordinate service flow and address any guest requests or concerns promptly. * Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages and maintaining a clean work environment.
