VFX project manager

_RJG Construction, specializing in Heavy Civil and Marine Construction, seeking Full-Time Project Manager to join our team._ Responsibilities Include * Participating in Estimating / Quantity take-offs and preparation of technical components of tender documents * Planning and organizing all aspects of projects in accordance with project specifications * Working with supervisors and safety personnel to ensure a safe working environment. * Provide direction to supervisors and sub-contractors. * Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedule. * Work with Clients/Engineers * Develop methodologies and procedures. * Conduct Quality Control (QC) inspections * Attend site and Client/Engineer/Contract Administrator progress meetings. * Engage and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure common goals are achieved and corporate interests kept in mind * Other duties as required. Qualifications * Degree in Civil Engineering or diploma in Civil Engineering Technology an asset * Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques * Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals * Well organized * Strong communication skills * Ability to prioritize and multitask. * Ability to work independently and to work in a team environment. * Communicate both verbally and written in English * AutoCAD knowledge an asset * Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite * Understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule * Valid Class 5 driver license Job Types: Permanent, Full-time Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Life insurance Work Location: In person
