Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Accountant III to join our client in support of an existing vacancy. Contract Period: 6 months with potential to extend or convert Pay Rate: Starting from $30 per hour Location: Toronto, ON Location Type: Hybrid Business Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Job Responsibilities: Process mutual fund trades and settlements Investigate and resolve transaction breaks and discrepancies Handle Fund SERV transactions and money movements Use Excel macros to support operational processes Provide customer service and respond to inquiries Maintain compliance with operational and regulatory procedures Experience & Qualification Requirements: University graduate in Finance degree required 5 years of Accountant experience required Advanced Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, pivots, macros) Banking/Financial experience Tech Savvy- ability to pick up internal systems quickly Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook and Excel) Trade settlements How to Apply: If you are a motivated professional looking to contribute to a leading team, please submit your resume outlining your qualifications and experience relevant to this role. A university degree in Finance and at least 5 years of accounting experience are required. Candidates must possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience within the banking or financial sector.
