Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Scala Spark Developer to join our client in support of an existing vacancy. Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert Pay Rate: Starting from $102 per hour Location: Toronto, ON Location Type: Hybrid Business Hours: Monday-Friday, Core Business Hours Job Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, unit test and optimize data pipelines using Scala and Apache Spark Implement transformations, aggregations, and calculations required for liquidity reporting Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of large-scale data processing jobs Integrate data from multiple source systems (e.g., transactional, risk, financial data) Apply data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms Support deployment, code reviews, and production issue resolution Adhere to enterprise development standards, security, and governance policies Experience & Qualification Requirements: 5-10 years of Scala Spark developer experience Strong communication skills Banking/Regulatory reporting in Banking preferred Liquidity reporting preferred How to Apply: If you are a motivated professional looking to contribute to a leading team, please submit your resume outlining your qualifications and experience relevant to this role.
