Role Description This is a full-time remote AZ truck driver role, where driving responsibilities are performed on the road rather than from a centralized office. The driver will operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently, transporting goods between designated locations while following assigned routes and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing cargo, and maintaining accurate logbooks Via Omnitracs XRS and delivery documentation. The role involves adherence to all applicable transportation and DOT regulations, communicating with dispatch regarding route updates or issues, and reporting any vehicle defects or incidents promptly. The driver is expected to provide professional customer service at delivery and pickup sites and to uphold company standards for safety and reliability. Qualifications Possess strong commercial driving skills, including CDL Class AZ license and proven truck driving experience 3 yr. Demonstrated ability to handle unloading tasks safely and efficiently, including basic load securement and cargo handling. Thorough understanding of DOT regulations and relevant transportation safety standards, with consistent regulatory compliance. Experience operating and caring for commercial trucks, including routine checks, basic troubleshooting, and reporting maintenance needs. Clean driving record and ability to pass required background checks and drug/alcohol testing. Good communication skills for co-ordination with dispatch, customers, and team members, must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Ability to work independently on the road, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing routes, schedules, and weather conditions. Physical ability to perform driving and unloading duties, including lifting, climbing in and out of the truck and trailer, and extended periods of driving. Previous experience in long-haul, 1 year Flatbed freight transport is a must, total of 3 yrs AZ truck driving; and familiarity with Canadian and cross-border routes is beneficial.
