As a Journeyman Carpenter you will take responsibility in bringing strong craftsmanship, reliability, and a strong eye for detail, working on various residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities Execute framing layouts independently for multi-family residential structures. Construct fire-rated assemblies in strict compliance with safety regulations. Supervise and mentor carpenter apprentices, helping them build their skills while maintaining productivity and quality on site. Read and interpret blueprints to accurately plan and complete projects. Maintain high-quality workmanship standards across all phases of construction. Enforce rigorous safety compliance across all assigned work areas. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with building codes, site plans, and safety requirements. Report daily site progress accurately to project management teams. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, and properly care for tools and equipment. Collaborate with other trades to keep projects moving efficiently and on schedule. What You’ll Need Journeyperson Certificate is mandatory and proof of certification will be required if selected. Experience reading blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings, with a strong understanding of building codes and site safety requirements. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment. A valid class 5 license and vehicle.
