About the Role We are looking for dependable, hardworking Skilled Labourers to join our internal construction team. In this role, you won't just be sweeping floors—you will be a critical part of our high-production multi-family apartment projects across Winnipeg. You will work alongside our trade crews, taking on diverse, hands-on tasks that keep our job sites moving efficiently. This is the perfect position for someone who already has a solid foundation in construction and wants to build a long-term career with one company. Key Responsibilities Site Support & Preparation: Assist carpenters, framers, and drywallers with material handling, layout prep, and staging materials across multi-unit structures. Tool Operations: Safely and efficiently operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, grinders, pneumatic tools). Site Maintenance & Safety: Take initiative in keeping individual units and broader job sites clean, organized, and running safely. Material Management: Unload, move, and organize heavy building materials, ensuring site inventory is secure and accessible to the trade teams. Trade Collaboration: Work productively alongside other site teams in a fast-paced environment to keep project phases ahead of schedule. What We’re Looking For Experience: Proven experience working on active commercial or residential construction sites (apartment build experience is a major asset). Knowledge: Strong understanding of general job site safety practices, tool operation, and basic building materials. Mindset: Someone who shows up on time every day, takes pride in a clean and safe job site, and brings a team-first attitude. What You’ll Need Mobility: A valid Manitoba driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle to travel to various job sites within Winnipeg. Physical Capabilities: The ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently, stand for extended periods, and work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and at heights. Gear: Your own personal PPE (CSA-approved steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety vest) and basic hand tools.
