Position Summary Reporting to the Supervisor, Payroll & Benefits, the Finance Department has an immediate opening for a Payroll Coordinator. This position is responsible for processing and reporting of biweekly payroll and monthly benefit remittances, updating and maintenance of employee information in the HRMS, ensuring timely data availability and maintaining HR department metric tracking processes. This is an onsite position at Ross Memorial Hospital. Effective date July 27, 2026 Major Duties and Responsibilities Processing biweekly payroll and benefits, troubleshoot payroll issues, provide quality client service and assist with year-end activities and reporting Audit, investigate and correct discrepancies between scheduling and payroll systems Manage electronic employee records based on HRIS and Payroll system functionality Coordinate overall HR department metric tracking, survey and reporting processes using Virtuo (Payroll and HR modules) Assist in the development and maintenance of system and reporting processes within the Payroll and Human Resources departments Relief for Payroll Supervisor as required Essential Qualifications Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, or Human Resources Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation through the National Payroll Institute Proficiency in use of and administration of a Human Resources Information System, including Crystal reporting software Minimum 3 years’ experience processing payroll, benefit and HR information in an integrated systems environment Hospital experience an asset Union payroll experience an asset Superior computer skills in application of Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical and problem solving skills Team player with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Excellent communication skills with superior customer service skills Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job, as per the current Physical Demands Analysis Preferred Qualifications Practical experience in compensation Hours of Work Must be available to work day shift Monday to Friday.
