Role and responsibilities We’re looking for a full-stack software engineer to augment our team as we build out our vision for red light therapy, including internet connected devices and a personalized app. This is a hands-on position where your day-to-day will involve translating user needs into software products via code. Your primary responsibilities will be to: Lead development on our connected device backend Implement new features to delight clients in our mobile application Test and secure code for our connected platform Qualifications We’re particularly interested in independent individuals that use tools efficiently and take ownership on technical solutions. This position will not feature lengthy day-to-day guidance, so candidates are expected to be able to achieve objectives autonomously. Mandatory qualifications: Strong, demonstrable proficiency in TypeScript, Node and React/React Native 3+ years experience in frontend web development 3+ years experience in backend web development Preferable qualifications: Experience with IoT or web-enabled devices Experience with NoSQL databases & schema design Experience with mobile development Degree in computer science, software engineering or similar Interviews will evaluate our mandatory qualifications as well as any strengths listed in the application - we prefer honesty over a perfect fit to the position. The engineer will lead the development of the connected device backend and implement new features for the mobile application. They will also be responsible for testing and securing code for the company's connected platform.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in both frontend and backend web development with strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node, and React. A degree in computer science or software engineering is preferred, along with experience in IoT and NoSQL databases.
