Our clinic provides individualized, evidence-informed care across physiotherapy, pelvic health physiotherapy, chiropractic care, registered massage therapy, athletic therapy, and rehabilitation. Our team works collaboratively to support patients with musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, chronic pain, post-operative rehabilitation, and return to sport and activity. Our clinicians have access to advanced treatment and rehabilitation options including shockwave therapy, Class 4 laser therapy, TMJ rehabilitation, dry needling, acupuncture, GLA:D® for hip and knee osteoarthritis, BoneFit™, therapeutic exercise, and progressive strength and conditioning. Role Description Royal Rehab & Wellness Centre is seeking a dual-qualified Certified Athletic Therapist and Registered Massage Therapist (CAT(C) & RMT) to join our growing interdisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys combining hands-on treatment with active rehabilitation, exercise prescription, injury prevention, and return-to-sport programming. The successful candidate will assess and treat a broad range of sports-related and musculoskeletal conditions while developing individualized rehabilitation programs based on each patient's goals, functional needs, and activity level. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting comprehensive musculoskeletal, athletic, and functional movement assessments • Providing athletic therapy and registered massage therapy within your professional scope • Developing individualized rehabilitation, exercise, and return-to-sport programs • Implementing progressive strength, conditioning, mobility, and injury-prevention programs • Treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries • Educating patients regarding injury management, recovery, exercise, and prevention of re-injury • Supporting safe progression back to work, recreation, exercise, and competitive sport • Collaborating with physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other members of the clinical team • Maintaining accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation • Contributing to a positive, patient-focused and collaborative clinic environment Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: • Current Certified Athletic Therapist designation (CAT(C)) through the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association or equivalent recognized qualification • Current registration as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal assessment, rehabilitation, sports injury management, and therapeutic exercise • Strong skills in strength and conditioning, functional rehabilitation, and return-to-sport programming • Experience with injury prevention and patient education • Excellent manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team • Commitment to evidence-informed practice and ongoing professional development • Current CPR and First Aid certification Experience with concussion management, return-to-play protocols, taping, sports rehabilitation, or strength and conditioning is considered an asset.
