Job Type: Full-Time Permanent (40 hrs per week) Start Date: To be determined Salary: $66,777.48 - $87,838.40 annually, based on experience. Comprehensive benefits package included. Closing Date: August 24, 2026 @ 4:30pm What You’ll Do As a Community Safety Officer, you’ll enforce municipal bylaws and select provincial statutes, patrol the community, investigate complaints, and promote public safety through education and engagement. Enforce RM bylaws and applicable provincial statutes Patrol the community and investigate alleged breaches Issue warnings, tickets, and prepare reports for court proceedings Attend court as required and provide accurate testimony Promote awareness and compliance through education and outreach Collaborate with RCMP and other enforcement partners Maintain accurate records and prepare status reports What We’re Looking For Minimum Grade 12 education with 1–3 years of experience in enforcement or security Completion of a recognized Community/Bylaw Officer training program or willingness to obtain Valid Class 5 driver’s license, RCMP security clearance and driver’s abstract required Current First Aid/CPR certification Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills Ability to write clear and accurate reports, competent with Microsoft Office and enforcement software For a full list of responsibilities and qualifications please visit www.weststpaul.com.
