The hourly pay range for this position is $22.70 - $36.40. Individual pay within this range is determined by several compensable factors, including the year of study, type of academic program, and the number of prior co-op work terms completed. Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Engineering Assistant (Co-op)! The Manufacturing Engineering Assistant is responsible for working on plant layout updates and prepping work instructions. They will also support in CAPEX projects, conduct process studies, and work alongside designers and engineers to create and improve fixtures. Key Responsibilities: Work on plant layout updates & preparation of work instructions. Assist in CAPEX projects with Project/Manufacturing Engineers. Conduct process studies and continuous improvement initiatives. Work alongside designers and engineers to create and improve fixtures. What you’ll Need To Succeed: Currently enrolled in a registered post-secondary co-op program in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering. Available for a 4, 8, or 12 month co-op placement starting in Winter 2027. Good understanding of VBA & Python. Some CAD experience in Solid Edge, Solid Works or AutoCAD. Some experience working with machines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical Effort: Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20lbs. Work Environment: Acceptable working environment with minor or almost no disagreeable or challenging working conditions as part of everyday expected levels (all jobs will occasionally experience undesirable or disagreeable events). Requirements

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering. Proficiency in VBA, Python, and CAD software, along with experience working with machines, is required.
