The hourly pay range for this position is $22.70 - $36.40. Individual pay within this range is determined by several compensable factors, including the year of study, type of academic program, and the number of prior co-op work terms completed. Join Our Team as a Quality Engineering Support (Co-op)! Are you passionate about Quality Engineering Support (Co-op)? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual for our Quality Assurance team. The Quality Engineering Support (Co-op) is responsible for supporting quality improvement projects, ensuring that changes to processes and drawings are complete, as well as monitoring performance. Key Responsibilities: * Monitoring of operational performance metrics. * Summarizing and presenting reports. * Identification of operational issues. * Conducting root cause analysis and corrective action identification (problem-solving activity). * Supporting process owners with change management. What you’ll Need To Succeed: * Pursuing a degree/diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering. * Is in a registered co-op program and available for an 8-month co-op placement starting in the Winter 2027 work term. * Has a key interest in engineering design and manufacturing. * Some manufacturing experience is an asset. * Can be proficient in Visual Basic * Excellent communication skills * A team player * Able to work independently with minimal supervision Physical Effort: Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20lbs. Work Environment: Acceptable working environment with minor or almost no disagreeable or challenging working conditions as part of everyday expected levels (all jobs will occasionally experience undesirable or disagreeable events). Requirements
Candidates must be pursuing a degree or diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering and be enrolled in a registered co-op program. Proficiency in Visual Basic and strong communication skills are required for this 8-month placement.
