The successful candidate will work closely with clinical experts, healthcare providers, project teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to gather and validate clinical and business requirements, facilitate workshops, conduct process and gap analysis, develop detailed solution documentation, and support the implementation of a Clinical Information System (CIS/EHR). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in acute care digital health transformation, CIS/EHR implementations, Inpatient Medicine, clinical documentation, healthcare workflows, and clinical requirements analysis, along with excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills. Key Deliverables & Responsibilities Business & Clinical Requirements Analysis Conduct detailed reviews of existing business and clinical requirements. Gather, analyze, validate, and document business, clinical, and information technology requirements. Conduct gap analysis to identify current-state and future-state requirements. Analyze business and client requirements supporting the development, operation, and deployment of the clinical standardization project. Recommend and implement solutions aligned with defined objectives. Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions. Clinical Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation Collaborate with clinical experts to gather input and insights for the development and refinement of clinical standards. Design and facilitate workshops with healthcare providers and clinical stakeholders. Lead requirements-gathering sessions to identify and articulate business and system requirements. Develop user stories, use cases, workflows, and supporting requirements documentation. Engage and collaborate with project team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at all levels. Support effective stakeholder communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle. Process & Solution Documentation Conduct business process analysis and detailed solution design activities. Validate existing clinical processes and identify opportunities for improvement and standardization. Create and maintain detailed process and solution documentation. Develop workflows, use cases, user guides, training materials, and other project documentation. Ensure documentation supports effective adoption of clinical standards. Clinical Information System Implementation Support large-scale acute care digital health transformation and CIS implementation initiatives. Build, validate, and test clinical content within the Clinical Information System. Support clinical documentation and requirements related to Inpatient Medicine. Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of clinical standardization activities. Support implementation activities, testing, validation, and deployment of clinical solutions. Mandatory Requirements University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of applicable education and experience. Demonstrated experience as a Clinical Analyst, Clinical Informatics Analyst, or equivalent. Experience with clinical documentation requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design activities, and development of business analysis documentation within the last 10 years. Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst/Clinical Informatics Analyst on a large-scale acute care digital health transformation or CIS implementation project. Direct experience building or implementing a similar-scale Clinical Information System (EHR/CIS). Demonstrated experience developing clinical deliverables supporting Inpatient Medicine. Additional consideration for experience with: Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) Order sets Clinical documentation Pharmacy Medical Imaging Laboratory services Communication & Facilitation Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong facilitation and presentation capabilities. French and English bilingual communication skills are strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience leading workshops with healthcare providers. Ability to identify and articulate business and system requirements. Experience developing user stories and/or use cases. Stakeholder & Collaboration Skills Ability to work with a high degree of self-direction. Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills. Ability to confidently engage with project team members, subject matter experts, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders at all levels. Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Multi-Project Delivery Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and competing activities. Experience working with multiple teams and supporting more than one project stream/activity simultaneously. Ability to operate effectively in complex and fast-paced healthcare project environments. Tools & Technology Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 365, including: Excel Word PowerPoint Visio Outlook Teams Experience using Atlassian JIRA within a project/work environment. Public Healthcare Experience Previous experience working within public health authorities. Strong understanding of the public healthcare landscape, policies, processes, and practices. Experience within the New Brunswick healthcare system is an additional advantage. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be an experienced Clinical Business Analyst / Clinical Informatics Analyst with hands-on experience in Inpatient Medicine and acute care environments, combined with experience supporting large-scale digital health transformation and CIS/EHR implementations. Strong candidates will ideally have experience with clinical documentation, Inpatient Medicine workflows, CPOE, order sets, ancillary healthcare services, healthcare requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, process analysis, and clinical system implementation. Compliance Requirements The Selected Candidate Will Be Required To Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before commencing the assignment. Complete the Department's Privacy Training prior to starting the engagement. Be available to travel to New Brunswick at least once per month throughout the project duration.
