The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments. You will perform, using air-powered hand tools or semi-automatic equipment, the grinding of attachment points of the main landing gear components according to specifications. These operations require a high level of precision to create the exact dimensions to accommodate other mechanical parts later. You Will Also Be Required To prepare the part and, if necessary, perform assembly on the equipment inspect parts using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications complete the appropriate quality assurance documentation contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and the achievement of objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on-time deliveries Requirements Let's talk about you High school diploma required (equivalence certificate not accepted) Experience in manual work with pneumatic tools in a manufacturing environment Experience in manual grinding is an asset Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers are also assets. (benefits, specifics, …) Evening shift: Monday to Thursday from 2:20 PM to 12:20 AM Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (day, evening, night, or weekend) The salary for this position starts between $27.85 and $37.87 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
