Job summary

We're partnering with a fast-growing software company building AI-powered tools for the electric utility sector (think: Google Maps for Grids). Their platform helps power suppliers get more capacity out of existing grid infrastructure. They've grown roughly 4x in the past year, recently closed a Series B from top-tier investors, and are now expanding across the U.S. About The Role We are seeking a Founding Head of Marketing to build and lead the company’s marketing function from the ground up. This role sits alongside the company’s leadership, and holds full ownership of marketing strategy, budget, and execution, with product marketing and account-based growth at the core of the function. Set and own the company’s positioning, messaging architecture, value propositions, category narrative, and competitive framing. Develop the sales plays, business cases, presentations, and enablement materials required to progress complex utility opportunities. Set marketing goals, KPIs, and measurement systems that connect activity to account engagement, pipeline, expansion, and market position. Define the company’s content and market-credibility strategy around the issues, buyers, and channels that matter most to the business. What we're looking for 8+ years in B2B marketing, with real depth in enterprise product marketing and/or account-based marketing. Experience building a marketing function, or a substantial part of one, in an early-stage or rapidly growing company. Concentrated-account motion, not volume/demand-gen. Background selling to a small, defined buyer universe, not a broad addressable market Strong writing, narrative-development, and executive communication skills. Compensation: $250k–$275k CAD + bonus Meaningful equity Comprehensive benefits plan Generous holiday package
