Job summary
Our client is a profitable, debt-free location intelligence and marketing planning software company looking to bring on their first-ever Head of Sales. The company has 200+ enterprise customers across restaurant, retail, and healthcare industries, 99% NRR, and >$15M in revenue which has been powered entirely by a small 2 person inbound sales motion. How this role ramps up & What you'll do You'll start as a player-coach. Before building out he sales org, you'll get close the business: learn the product deeply, understand the competitive landscape, and get directly involved in running and closing deals alongside the president. Once you understand what actually drives a win, you'll shift into building the team, process, and outbound engine with a clear path to running the sales function within ~12 months Build a lean, high-performing sales org from the ground up: AE's, SDR, sales support Install repeatable sales process— qualification, forecasting, deal review, CRM discipline Stand up a dedicated outbound prospecting motion (there isn't one today) Recruit, coach, and mentor a small but growing team — this is the heart of the role Own bookings, win rate, pipeline health, and sales-cycle time Diversify the customer base beyond a strong restaurant/QSR base into retail, service, and emerging brands Leverage modern sales tools, including AI, to keep the function fast and efficient Work closely with the Head of Sales and VP Customer Success What we're Looking For An early stage proven B2B sales leader, ideally in SaaS, data/analytics or technology space with a track record of owning a revenue number at scale Someone who has built sales processes Previous success in an IC role Comfortable being hands-on and in the weeds early, without needing to build an org on day one High agency: someone who creates momentum without being pushed, and treats problems as their own Able to work out of the office 1-2 days a week Compensation Package $150K-$175K base + commission Comprehensive benefits package Personal health spending account and wellness benefits program Cellphone subsidy RRSP matching Generous vacation package + half-day summer Fridays
