About the Role: Senior Business Development Manager We're looking for a consultative, hunter-oriented sales professional to lead new business development for large-scale school modernization and new build projects across the GTA and broader Ontario market. This is a pure new-business role — you won't inherit an existing account base, but you will step into 12–18 months of groundwork already laid by our leadership team, including warm relationships and open doors across the region. Proactively build and manage your own pipeline by networking with architects, general contractors, school board purchasing departments, and school principals Engage early in the project planning cycle to help influence design direction and shape specifications (without directly authoring RFPs) Partner closely with our internal design team to develop full-environment proposals — learning commons, libraries, and full school builds Manage long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first conversation through close, including multiple rounds of design revisions and stakeholder presentations Hand off closed deals to our fulfillment team — you stay focused on new business, not delivery Lead complex sales negotiations ranging from $200K-$500K+ with 9+ month sales cycles What We're Looking For 7+ years of B2B field sales experience in a new business focused role Strong consultative selling and discovery skills, with experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals through to close Comfort networking independently with architects, general contractors, and public-sector stakeholders Someone motivated by large deal sizes, long sales cycles, and uncapped, scaling commission potential Must be based in the GTA with a valid drivers license and clean driving record Compensation $130K-$150K base + uncapped commission OTE year 1 $200K+ Company vehicle + gas card Comprehensive benefits package All work-related technology included Vacation package
