*Job Summary* SAMBAL is a modern Indonesian bistro at The Danforth in Toronto. We are currently hiring a Dishwasher to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis. This position is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our food service, ensuring the kitchen remains clean and organized. *Duties* * Wash dishes, cookware, and utensils quickly and efficiently * Clear and reset tables, keep the dining area tidy * Take out garbage, recycling, and compost * Help with janitorial tasks (sweeping, mopping, bathroom upkeep, etc.) * Assist kitchen and front-of-house team as needed * Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. * Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. *Requirements* * Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. * Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. * Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others as needed. * Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and management. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. *Why Join Sambal?* * Supportive team and opportunity to grow * Staff meals & discounts * Flexible scheduling options Pay: From $18.00 per hour Application question(s): * What is your general availability like?
