In limited circumstances, assessments may be virtually or by phone.- Travel is required, including occasional overnight stays, within defined regions of the province.- Recording information obtained during the assessment process in an electronic data management system.- Analyzing/reviewing information for correctness and ensuring the consistent and equitable application of the assessment tool.- Providing project reporting and information as requested (verbal, paper, electronic), such as statistics, status updates, scheduling information, challenges, etc. to Senior Supervisor, management, and Ministry staff as required.- Ongoing communication with Senior Supervisor and Administrator, as well as other Assessors in carrying out of responsibilities.- Developing, scheduling, and coordinating daily workflow within specified timeframes.- Liaising with other community organizations or support persons as needed.- Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Education:- Degree in Human Services. Experience:- Minimum of two years related assessment work experience. Skills:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- In depth understanding of disability issues including conducting assessments (disability, impact, functional, vocational).- Computer proficiency, including excellent typing skills.- Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License and use of personal vehicle. Final Candidates are required to provide satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search.
