As a Lead Hand, you’ll support the Foreman in organizing project timelines while guiding and motivating your team on site. You’ll help oversee daily crew activities and ensure work is completed to a high standard, sharing your skills and providing hands-on training along the way. This is a great opportunity to take on a leadership role while contributing directly to quality landscape construction projects. Responsibilities: * Plan timetable for projects in conjunction with the Foreman * Blueprint reading and measuring/layout of construction projects * Use of large and small construction equipment applicable to the landscape construction industry * Responsible for day-to-day activities of crew members * Provide training to crew members * Provides leadership to teams * Hardscape and softscape experience required * Interact with clients on site when needed, provide exceptional customer service in a polite and courteous manner * Oversees the quality of workmanship on site * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * A valid G Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract * Minimum 3 years’ experience in landscape construction * Experience in comparable leadership role * Desire to work in the horticultural/landscape construction industry * Knowledge of plant material and equipment is required * Experience driving truck and trailer This is for an open vacancy.
