The Village of Riverside Glen has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance to join their team. • Status: Temporary Full-Time • Location: 60 Woodlawn Road E, Guelph ON • Expected Start Date: October 19, 2026 The hiring rate for this role is $22.03 per collective agreement/employee association agreement. Successful candidates will be required to provide an acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and a Tuberculosis (TB) screening test before starting. You can be you, while being a part of our family. As a new Maintenance Team Member joining our Village, you will: Support and embrace our resident-centered culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of maintenance services to our residents. Our Maintenance Team Members perform a variety of maintenance activities across their Village to ensure a safe and comfortable home environment for residents, their families and your colleagues. Maintenance Team Members complete maintenance requests [repairs] and routine scheduled work including plumbing, painting, floor repair and upkeep, electrical repairs and heating/cooling system maintenance. Requirements

Candidates should be comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather, and able to meet the physical demands of maintenance work. They should handle residents’ belongings and Village equipment with care and treat residents, families, team members, and visitors with dignity and professionalism; knowledge of maintenance trades, safety practices, equipment, and tools is an asset.
