Job Summary The Commercial Tire Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and dispatching commercial tire service technicians and service trucks to customer locations, including trucking fleets, transportation companies, construction sites, industrial facilities, and other commercial accounts. This role ensures that service calls are handled efficiently, technicians are dispatched appropriately, and customer expectations are met while maintaining productivity, safety, and service quality. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and able to prioritize emergency roadside calls alongside scheduled commercial tire services. Key ResponsibilitiesDispatching and Scheduling Coordinate and dispatch commercial tire service technicians and mobile service trucks for scheduled appointments, emergency roadside calls, and on-site fleet services Prioritize service requests based on urgency, customer needs, technician availability, location, and estimated travel time Monitor technician locations, job progress, arrival times, and service completion Adjust schedules and dispatch assignments as required to respond to changing priorities and emergency calls Ensure technicians have the necessary equipment, tires, tools, and information to complete assigned jobs Coordinate after-hours, breakdown, and emergency service coverage as required Customer Service and Communication Serve as the primary point of contact between customers, technicians, service management, and internal departments Communicate estimated arrival times, service updates, delays, and job completion details to customers Handle incoming service requests professionally and ensure accurate information is collected Maintain strong relationships with commercial fleet customers and provide timely updates throughout the service process Escalate customer concerns, service delays, and operational issues to management when necessary Operational Coordination Verify service details, customer locations, tire requirements, equipment needs, and job priorities before dispatch Coordinate with the commercial tire shop, warehouse, sales team, and technicians to confirm product availability and service readiness Track open work orders, completed calls, technician productivity, and outstanding service requirements Ensure work orders, service tickets, customer information, and dispatch records are accurate and up to date Assist with coordinating fleet inspections, scheduled tire maintenance, tire replacements, and preventative maintenance programs Identify opportunities to improve routing efficiency, response times, and overall operational productivity Administration and Reporting Maintain accurate dispatch logs, service records, job statuses, and customer communications Update dispatching software, scheduling systems, and internal reporting tools Verify that completed service calls are documented and submitted for invoicing in a timely manner Communicate unresolved work orders, parts requirements, and follow-up service needs to the appropriate departments Support management with daily dispatch reports, service metrics, and operational performance tracking Health and Safety Ensure dispatch assignments consider technician safety, road conditions, site access, and applicable service procedures Communicate relevant job hazards, customer site requirements, and safety instructions to technicians Follow company policies, health and safety procedures, and applicable workplace regulations Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm in person on site. $21.00 per hour over time after 44 hours.
