We are currently seeking two logistics resources to support warehouse and transportation operations for our sites in Sept‑Îles.

The selected candidates will play a key role in coordinating the movement of goods, planning logistics activities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

The Logistics Technician is responsible for the efficient organization of transportation, warehousing, and material handling operations. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, clients, and carriers to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Responsibilities :

-       Handle transportation and warehousing requests from various projects.

-       Establish priorities and organize loading and unloading activities.

-       Perform administrative follow‑ups related to logistics operations.

-       Prepare and distribute documentation required for smooth operational activities.

-       Participate in cost monitoring and submit requests for additional resources when needed.

-       Maintain rigorous document management and record‑keeping.

-       Collaborate with clients and carriers to coordinate material requirements.

-       Organize deliveries to various loading locations.

-       Follow up on material receipt and delivery.

-       Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at warehouse sites.

-       Verify load securing compliance and safety during material handling operations.

-       Perform any other related duties.

Benefits :

Requirements :

-       University degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

-       Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the logistics field.

-       Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

-       Excellent command of spoken and written French.

-       Availability to start quickly.

-       Knowledge of SAP.

-       Experience in an industrial environment or warehouse management.

-       Strong coordination skills and ability to manage priorities.

-       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Salary: $27.47 per hour

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Status: Long‑term temporary
