This position requires eligibility for a TN visa (i.e., Canadian citizenship) because it is located in Auburn Hills, MI. SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Mechatronics Design Release Engineer to support Integrated Center Stack (ICS) components, with a strong focus on vehicle issue resolution, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and local plant and launch support. Key Responsibilities Support the design, development, validation, and release of Integrated Center Stack (ICS) components. Review returned parts at QEC and investigate vehicle-level issues to identify root causes. Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and engineering teams. Implement and validate corrective actions at local U.S. manufacturing plants. Provide hands-on support during vehicle builds, plant issues, and product launches. Support engineering changes, component validation, and design release activities. Collaborate with Design, Electrical, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supplier Engineering teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related field. 3–5 years of automotive engineering experience, preferably in Design Release, Product Development, Quality, or Validation. Experience with mechatronic/electromechanical automotive components. Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills. Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, 8D, or similar problem-solving methodologies is preferred. Willingness to provide hands-on support at local U.S. manufacturing plants. Requirements
