Responsibilities Read and interpret route sheets, drawings, Shop Instruction Sheet (SIS), Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS), weld and rod cards. Plan and organize the RT/UT welding process. Identify and verify work piece material. Communicate with the team members and shop foreman. Perform basic fitting to a pre-established layout. Work in a safe manner, demonstrating good workmanship and practices. Qualifications Proven commitment to workplace safety. Ability to understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations. Minimum 5 years of manual welding experience in a heavy manufacturing environment. Ability to perform manual welding and repairs to RT/UT quality standards using multiple welding processes. Intermediate blueprint-reading skills. Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in awkward positions. Ability to pass respirator fit-testing, if required. Welding Test:Candidates must successfully complete a welding test consisting of: 6G position test: 2 ¾" OD carbon steel pipe, 0.625" wall thickness. GTAW root pass in the 6G position — visual inspection. SMAW fill and cap in the 6G position — visual and RT inspection. Work Schedule Must be available to work one of the following shifts: Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday–Thursday Afternoon Shift: 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m., Monday–Thursday Weekend Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Friday–Sunday (paid for 40 hours) Weekend Afternoon Shift: 5:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m. SEGULA Technologies is a global engineering group, boosting the competitiveness of all major industrial sectors: automotive, aerospace, energy, rail, naval, life sciences, and telecoms.
