SewerVUE Technology Corp. develops and deploys robotic solutions for inspecting pipelines. Using sensor technologies such as CCTV, LiDAR, Sonar, and pipe penetrating radar (PPR) we help cities measure the state of their pipes. This is a full-time, on-site Software Developer role based in Burnaby, BC. The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions to support advanced pipeline condition assessments. This includes working with encrypted data from LiDAR, Sonar, Radar and other telemetry sensors. Familiarity with networking is a must! The developer will help optimize data analysis processes and contribute to innovation in pipeline inspection technology. Qualifications Familiarity with C#, .NET, Networking, dataflows, and hardware integration. Proficiency in Software Development and Programming with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code Ability to use AI to expedite code creation, debugging, and algorithm deployment. Ability to troubleshoot and debug software issues effectively Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team; you understand that some problems are just communication problems. Familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Experience working with hardware integration, sensors, robotics, etc.
