The candidate can be located anywhere in Canada. The work will be done at the client' site.Job Details:Support Construction Manager in overseeing pipeline / industrial construction projectsEnsure full compliance with safety, environmental, and quality plansEnforce stop work authority and promote a strong safety cultureOversee inspectors to ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, codes, and standardsReview contractor safe work practices, hazard assessments, and daily reportingMonitor construction progress and drive corrective actions where requiredAssist with NCRs, non-conformance tracking, and issue resolutionCoordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure alignmentSupport documentation, record management, and project close-out requirementsConduct site walkdowns and ensure quality and compliance on-siteProvide leadership and guidance to inspection staff QualificationsQualifications:High School Diploma or GED (required)8+ years of experience in pipeline, oil & gas, or industrial construction (preferred)Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and industry standardsTechnical diploma, trade certification, or engineering background considered an assetMust be an Independent ContractorAdditional Details:Rotation: 17 days on / 4 days offStrong focus on safety, collaboration, and accountabilityAdditional InformationSGS is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and as such we recruit, hire, train, and promote persons in all job classifications without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression and Indigenous status, or any other characteristics protected by law. Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and preferably over 8 years of experience in pipeline, oil & gas, or industrial construction. Candidates must be independent contractors with a strong understanding of construction codes and industry standards.
