Additional duties as assigned/required About You In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring: A High School Diploma or completion of equivalent education 1-2 years’ experience in construction or building maintenance Knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety legislation Advanced Proficiency in English required, other languages considered an asset You can provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care. Ability to use measuring tools, power tools Enters and locates work-related information using computers maintenance management systems. Displays a working knowledge in the following categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing trade. Monitors and maintains building engineering systems, including boilers, ventilation, and plumbing, according to preventative maintenance schedules. Performs various minor repairs such as painting, patching walls, and replacing filters to ensure facility integrity.

Requires a high school diploma and 1-2 years of experience in construction or building maintenance. Candidates must have knowledge of WHMIS, OHS legislation, and be able to pass a criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
