Position Overview Conducts and processes all clerical tasks related to the patient’s period of hospitalization within the unit/ program area in collaboration with the patient care team members. Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience as Unit Clerk. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Microsoft office (excel, word, etc.). Electronic Kidney Health Record and Electronic Patient Record experience preferred. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Grade 12, minimum. Completion of a recognized Unit Clerk course required. Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications And Skills Written and verbal command of the English Language essential. Good communication skills essential. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships within a team environment essential. Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple tasks. Physical Requirements Not Applicable This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment. Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT. Requirements
