The Opportunity Employment Type: Casual Hourly Rate of Pay: $ 21.08-26.42 Location: Shepherds Care Prince of Peace: 300 Prince of Peace Way Rocky View County, AB Reporting to the Director of Care (DOC) at Prince of Peace, the Health Administration Assistant’s coordinates and maintains the care staffing schedules in compliance with collective agreements, filling vacant shifts, posting vacant positions, and maintaining all documentation. In addition to the scheduling responsibilities, the Health Administration Assistant performs various duties including: updating client specific task sheets; assisting with the hiring process; managing incoming medical documents and distributes information to the appropriate department(s); completing payroll functions associated with Care Department; and providing general office clerical support. Consider applying if you have two years’ experience in a general administrative support position; strong organizational skills; can read, write, and speak English fluently and have intermediate knowledge of basic computer programs including Microsoft Word and Excel. Requirements
Requires two years of experience in a general administrative support position, strong organizational skills, fluent English, and intermediate knowledge of basic computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Healthcare environment and collective agreement experience are considered assets; the successful applicant must provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check.
