Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Cambridge, ON. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications accurately, reviewing and interpreting prescriptions, and providing medication counseling to customers. Daily responsibilities include conducting medication reviews, advising on drug interactions and side effects, and supporting chronic disease management. The role also involves overseeing prescription workflow, maintaining regulatory and company standards, collaborating with pharmacy assistants and other team members, and ensuring proper documentation and inventory control. The Pharmacist will contribute to health promotion initiatives, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold a safe, compliant, and inclusive pharmacy environment. Qualifications Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Pharmacist in Ontario, with good standing in the provincial regulatory body. Strong clinical knowledge of pharmacotherapy, drug interactions, and patient counseling practices. Demonstrated ability to interpret prescriptions, verify dosages, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers, health care providers, and team members. Proficiency with pharmacy management systems, prescription processing software, and basic computer applications. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and to providing respectful, non-discriminatory care to all customers. Previous community pharmacy or retail pharmacy experience is an asset; experience with medication reviews and chronic disease management programs is beneficial.
