Role Description< /strong> The Shrink Wrap Installation Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This position involves traveling to customer locations, preparing work areas, and safely installing shrink wrap on various assets such as furniture, machinery, vehicles, and equipment. Daily tasks include measuring and cutting materials, operating heat tools, securing coverings, and inspecting finished work to ensure proper protection and quality standards. The technician will interact directly with customers, explain services, address basic questions, and help maintain a clean and organized job site. Additional responsibilities include following safety procedures, assisting with loading and unloading equipment, and supporting the team in meeting project timelines and customer expectations. Qualifications Strong customer-facing skills, including Communication, Customer Service, and a focus on Customer Satisfaction. Basic technical and hands-on abilities, including Troubleshooting and Cabling or related installation experience. Ability to work safely with heat tools and materials, including adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment. Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods. Attention to detail and reliability in following instructions, measuring materials, and completing tasks accurately. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation within the Greater Toronto Area. Previous experience in installation, construction, warehousing, or a similar hands-on role is an asset.
