Your focus will be supporting the design and manufacture of turbine blades, vanes and seal segments for our aeroderivative gas turbine products. You work towards introducing creative, robust, reliable, cost-effective design solutions to meet customer needs. The working environment is dynamic, fast-paced, challenging and motivating. When the need arises, you will have the opportunity to visit our manufacturing partners in different parts of the world. How You’ll Make an Impact Provide technical input into the selection of materials, special processes and suppliers to meet business needs, with a focus on turbine blades, vanes and seal segments. Approve methods of manufacture and related documentation to ensure that manufactured components satisfy design intent. Review and approve component definitions, design alteration requests, repair methods and non -conformance reports. Assist with root cause investigation activities. Assist in the development of specifications to support business needs. Provide technical assessment of supplier capability. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering or a closely related field. Required: 10+ years working experience in a materials function supporting the manufacture of turbine blades, vanes and seal segments. Experience in various high-temperature materials and manufacturing processes including equiaxed/directionally-solidified/single crystal casting, conventional and non-conventional machining, welding, brazing, heat-treatment and high-temperature coatings. Experience with Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) and Method Verification Approval (MVA) or equivalent (ex. PPQP/APQP). Member or eligible to become member of l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. This position is in a French-speaking environment but requires fluency in English to comprehend documentation and technical terms from international sources, and to communicate with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues. Candidates must meet Export Control Canada Requirements. Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Requirements
