What will you do? Reporting to the Business Segment Head of the SI EP Circuit Protection and Control, this position is responsible for: Supporting the PLM (product life cycle management) process for Siemens Canada control products portfolio Developing product expertise for all products within the portfolio Managing the portfolio for motor control equipment in alignment with profit and market share goals Working closely with industrial sales team, order management, quotations, business developers, business unit management and engineering Collaborating with global affiliates on projects Supporting and developing relationships with Sales, distribution channels and end customers Supporting training and knowledge development with our sales team and partners to support our growth targets within the Industrial market place. Recommending pricing strategies and providing direction to align sales with optimum Value Selling Proposition Keeping current on product lines, overall market needs, CSA/UL-NEMA/IEC Standards, growth opportunities and monitoring competitive activity Maintaining SAP/PMD material master data Assisting in providing customer support with resolution of technical or field issues Creating and supporting product promotions Responsible for all documentation of Circuit protection & control products Presenting at trade shows and other company/customer events Other responsibilities as required What will you need to succeed? Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering Minimum 3 years of experience in product management is preferred Familiar with Safety/Disconnect Switches, Protection equipment and Pilot Devices Experience with marketing is an asset Strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Good organizational and computer skills Ability to work in team environment Knowledge and experience in product management, inside sales and engineering Ability to travel 20% of the time within Canada Fluency in French language is an asset [Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 80,000.00 CAD - $ 90,000.00 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. Requirements
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering and preferably at least 3 years of product management experience. Familiarity with safety switches, protection equipment, and pilot devices is required, along with the ability to travel 20% of the time.
