They are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to provide an exceptional experience for every patient. We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our Dental practice. This person will be the first point of contact for patients, managing phones, scheduling, and administrative support while delivering an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of reliability, responsibility, and integrity, in order to effectively meet the evolving needs of the role. Territory: Montreal Workplace: Downtown Montreal office Products/Services: Specialized dental services Salary: Base $51,000 - $62,000 Commissions/Bonus: N.A. Car allowance: N.A. Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed Other Benefits: Health and dental insurance Paid vacation and personal days Support for professional development Functions: Greet and manage patient interactions, in-person and via phone Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage recall systems Support dentist and clinical team with referral letters, post-op reports, and emails Handle administrative and light financial tasks as required Maintain organized patient records and ensure adherence to protocols Requirements: Development vs Maintenance: 0% vs 100% Road vs Office: 0% vs 100% Languages: Bilingual (English/French) with clear, warm phone etiquette Education: Post secondary education Training: On the job continuous training Overnight Travel: N.A. Years of experience: 3–5+ years’ experience at the front desk of a dental or medical clinic is needed Other requirements: Transferable contacts: N.A. Transferable Knowledge: Exceptional communication and high emotional intelligence; calm and professional in-person and on the phone Strong computer skills: practice management software, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, fast and accurate typing Proven reliability, discretion, and judgment (handling PHI, following protocols) Excellent scheduling, confirmations, and recall management; able to handle a high-volume calendar Experience with draft/format referral letters, send post-op reports, and manage professional emails Team-oriented, proactive, quick learner, and asks the right questions Experience with Dentitek or similar PMS, CBCT report workflows, insurance/CDCP basics
