SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Developing your skills as an apprentice by troubleshooting electrical systems/components, installing, modifying and repairing aircraft avionics, as contracted by the customer, with the support of experienced Avionics Technicians; Supporting license technicians during various maintenance activity on aircrafts; Accomplish maintenance under technicians supervision; Interact and work cooperatively with other trade personnel; Management and Customer Representatives while performing work in order to meet project directives; Attend training courses as directed; Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Working towards becoming a “E” licensed Avionics Technician; Previous apprentice related experience is an asset; Background in working on Business Aircraft types, an asset; Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate strong organizational skills; Must be attentive to detail; Positive attitude; Team oriented; Good communication skills. EDUCATION: In the process of finalizing a recognized Avionics Program, or equivalent, is a minimum requirement.
